Urban Mentors works with youth and families to plan and implement positive community-building events and outings. These events offer youth the opportunity to build leadership skills while also help build a strong community.
Over the years, our events have included:
During the pandemic, Urban Mentors has adapted our approach to events, and when county protocols allow, we host safe outdoor activities focused on encouraging overall wellness through socialization, fun, and physical activity.

- Back to School Flag Football
- Community Christmas party
- Summer Splash family field day
- Local field trips (beach trips, hiking, even “goat yoga”!)
